Information for School Parents
If you have an immediate concern about your child, or a group of children...
See your site Principal.
Are you aware of that School Safety measures are in place to protect your school child?
Do you have an opinion about the adequacy of these measures?
Do you want to influence or actively work towards changes to these measures?
First of all, you should be aware that School Safety is managed on a site-by-site basis. The school district provides oversight and advice.
By law, each school site must have a School Safety Plan, maintained yearly by your school's Site Council to meet the particular needs of your site and your community.
